We are excited to have our students returning to in-person learning.

We have a few reminders and requests from you as we return to school.

Do NOT come to school if you are sick – following the screening instructions
Masks are mandatory at all times. Masks can be lifted from the face in order to drink or eat but should not be removed for any period of time.
NEW – Masks are required while outdoors on school grounds, this includes before and after school.
Students are required to use the bathroom, exits and entrances designated for their classrooms. Students must remain on their classroom level and cannot attend other bathrooms.
Students should bring a reusable water bottle to fill at the bottle filling stations – the “water fountain” portion of the stations are not functional.
Only attend school on your cohort day.
The doors to the school cannot be opened for students before 8 AM due to the limited supervision available. Please dress appropriately if you are arriving at school before that time.
Students MUST perform hand hygiene (use hand sanitizer) upon entry to the school and upon entering and exiting classrooms. Staff will continue to be at entry points in the morning to monitor this.

NEW – STUDENT SCREENING CHECKS
As required by the Provincial Government students will need to complete the COVID School Screening every day before attending school. Teachers are now required to see the “Green Check Mark” verification screen for each student before marking them present in class. Students should screen before school and screenshot their verification screen to show their teacher. Students who do not save their screen will need to complete the screening again in order to remain in the class. If a student gets the “Red DO Not go to School” screening result at school they will be removed from the classroom and someone will have to come to the school to pick them up. Students cannot attend classes if they do not get the Green Check Mark on the assessment.

RETURNING SCHOOL MATERIALS FROM QUAD 2
Students are asked to bring any school materials (textbooks, novels, instruments) they were loaned in Quad 2 to school with them on Monday (Cohort A) or Thursday (Cohort B). There will be a table outside each designated entrance for students to put these materials on. These materials will then be held in quarantine for 7 days before being redistributed for Quad 3.
