WCI Students who ordered Digital AP exams should now be prepared for Window 3 AP Exams which start on Tuesday, June 1st (English Literature and Composition) and run until Friday, June 11th (Biology). Students were asked to fill out a “Readiness to write AP Exams and Access AP College Board Technology” Google Form which was due by Friday, May 7th (and later extended to Friday, May 14th). It is critical this year that students take all the necessary steps to prepare themselves for the online learning and assessment platform created by the AP College Board. Below are the instructions that are essential in order to properly prepare for Digital AP Exams and all of these were thoroughly explained in the above mentioned Google Form.

Step 1: | Now or already completed | Download the App: Students must download and install the digital testing application on an approved device they’ll use on exam day. All students must log in to the app with their College Board username and password to complete installation.

Step 2: | This Week or already completed | Use Digital Practice: Practicing with example questions in the digital testing app is the best way to prepare for digital exams. Digital practice also confirms that students’ testing computers work as expected before exam day.

Step 3: | 1–3 Days Before Each Exam Day (June 1 – 11 Exam Dates) | Complete Exam Setup: For each digital AP Exam students take, they must complete the exam setup step in the digital testing app. This step loads the exam onto the computer they’re going to test with. Completing this step is required 1–3 days before each exam. Without taking this step for each exam, students won’t be able to test.

Step 4: | 30 Minutes Before the Exam | Check in to Exam: Students are required to check in to each of their digital exams. There will be NO support available from WCI to support students who cannot/are not able to check in or access their exam.

Please note: It is the students responsibility to complete all the steps in order to be confident and ready to take their Digital AP Exam.

If students no longer wish to write their ordered AP Exam they may email Lauren_Crosby@wrdsb.ca. If students do not write their AP Exam a refund may be possible after all AP Exam windows are complete.
