Dear Parents/Guardians,

Currently the Regional bus operators that STSWR relies upon to transport your students safely to and
from school are short of qualified drivers.

STSWR has been working diligently with the bus operators to find creative solutions to ease this
ongoing issue and return to the service you’ve become accustomed to.

The bus operators have been going out of their way to advertise and recruit drivers, but this is a timely
process which also involves delays with provincially regulated certifications.

We are doing our best to work with all stakeholders to offer the best possible solutions and would ask
for your patience and understanding as we work through this extremely difficult time.

As support for your own family, STSWR encourages families to consider a student safety plan. We offer
