Hello, Grade 9 Students,
We are so excited to see you Tuesday.
Just a few little reminders for tomorrow.
- Plan to arrive at school on your bus or between 8 and 8:15 am if you walk or are getting a ride.
- You will find your Name and your Room Number and Course posted on a list outside the cafeteria or in the front foyer – once you have that information head to the Auditorium for orientation activities. Our senior leadership students will be around the school to help and will be running these activities for you.
- We have asked the WCI staff to wear school colours or school spirit wear to make it easier to find adults that can help you on the first day. Please don’t be afraid to ask if you need help.
- Do NOT attempt to use the front doors behind the construction fencing – or to leave by the doors in the Main Foyer – our construction is still ongoing
- We will have pizza available for you – free of charge at lunch. You may want to bring a water bottle. If you do not want to eat pizza, you should pack a lunch.
- Bring your combination lock if you would like to use a locker this year
- Bring your signed Chromebook contract. You will need this to pick up your Chromebook at the end of the day
- If you are getting a ride on the first day, please visit our website to get information on where it is safe to drop off students. There is no student drop-off on Hazel St. There will be a Drive to 5 Map posted shortly to the school website that indicates student drop-off areas within a 5-minute walk of the school.
