UPDATE at 3:29 pm – The hold and secure at Waterloo Collegiate Institute is lifted.

Students are now able to leave the school and return home. Parents and families also are now able to come to the school to pick up their children.

We appreciate the swift action of WRPS for keeping our school community safe.

Waterloo Collegiate Institute has been placed into a hold and secure at the direction of the Waterloo Regional Police Service.
