COURSE CHANGE REQUEST FORM

Course changes for Semester Two have CLOSED.

NOTE: The Full Disclosure Date for Semester 2 courses is Friday, May 8th, 2026. If you wish to drop a Grade 11 or Grade 12 course, please complete the course change form by Thursday, May 7th, 2026 @ 2:25 p.m. to ensure that the course will NOT appear on your transcript.

Please do not message your guidance counsellor about course changes. We will be in touch IF your request is possible. If a change is NOT possible, you will be placed on a waitlist.

SUMMER SCHOOL REGISTRATION FORM

Summer School is available for new credits only and has both an E-Learning (asynchronous) and In-Person option.

Please complete the “SUMMER SCHOOL REGISTRATION FORM” even if you have spoken to your Guidance Counsellor.

DATES FOR IN-PERSON & E-LEARNING SUMMER SCHOOL: June 29, 30 & July 2-24, 2026

IN-PERSON SUMMER SCHOOL:
Timing: 8:30am-3:00pm
Location: TBD
Transportation: Busing will be provided with pick-up spots from WCI; timing will be shared at a later date.

E-LEARNING SUMMER SCHOOL:
All courses are asynchronous (learn on your own schedule).

Important Note about Accessing E-Learning Course:  Due to new WRDSB GeoFencing restrictions, students who travel outside of Canada will NOT be able to access their course. Please ensure you are aware of this restriction before registering in E-Learning courses.
DEADLINE TO REGISTER:
Summer School registration will close at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2026 (except for Summer School Co-op which will close on Friday, March 13, 2026). Course registration is on a first come, first serve basis so please register as soon as possible.
SUMMER SCHOOL CO-OP REGISTRATION:
If you register for Summer School Co-op, you MUST meet with your Guidance Counsellor to complete a secondary registration form. Please indicate your intent below and then book an appointment with your Guidance Counsellor to complete the application process. Summer School Co-op placement dates are June 29, 30 & July 2-24, 2026 (plus additional pre-placement dates prior to June 26).  Co-op registration will close at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2026. Please ensure that you are able to attend the MANDATORY Co-op Pre-Placement Saturdays as follows for Summer School Co-op:

  • Saturday April 18th, 2026 (Virtual/online) 8:30am-4:30pm

  • Saturday April 25, 2026 (In person @ TBD) 8:30am-4:30pm

  • Saturday May 2, 2026 (In person @ TBD) 8:30am-4:30pm

  • Saturday May 23, 2026 (Virtual/online) 8:30am-4:30pm

  • Saturday June 6, 2026 (Virtual/online) 8:30am-4:30pm

  • Additional hours in evenings between April 20-June 5

GENERAL INFORMATION & EXPECTATIONS: 
1. Students may only take ONE Summer School credit course. This can be one full credit course, or two half credit courses (e.g. Civics, Careers).
2. Regular attendance is critical for success at Summer School. All full credit Summer School courses involve a minimum of 110 hours of content and instruction. Students should be aware that Summer School E-Learning courses require DAILY participation. Students can expect approximately 6 hours of online work/day (plus up to 2 hours/day homework). Failure to login/participate daily may result in your removal from the course.
3. WRDSB reserves the right to cancel courses if there is insufficient enrollment. Students/parents/guardians will be notified by email if the course they registered for is cancelled.
THIS FORM IS NOT YOUR ACTUAL REGISTRATION:
Your Guidance Counsellor will register you in the PRISM system to complete enrollment in a Summer School course.  You, your parent/guardian and your Counsellor will receive an email confirmation from PRISM once you are registered in your selected course.QUESTIONS?
