Those students currently enrolled in a WRDSB Strings program and whose home school permits their attending the WCI Strings Magnet program should complete their course selections in My Way.  These students will also need to submit a “WCI Magnet Profile” form, available on the WCI website on the Guidance page.

Any student not currently enrolled in a Strings program will be asked to submit the “WCI Magnet Profile” form in addition to the documentation outlining how long they have been playing and at what level from their music instructor, by Jan. 16, 2017.  In the case of an audition also being required, you will be contacted by the school and auditions will be scheduled the week of Jan. 30th.  The student will be notified at the conclusion of this audition, as to their status in the program.  Otherwise, an email will be sent on January 25th to the parent or guardian by the end of the work day.
