The program approach is student centered and pragmatic. It is non-credit and defined by each student’s Individual Education Plan. The primary goal is to attempt to differentiate appropriate exit outcomes concerning work, living accommodations and leisure. The program provides opportunities for our students to become as independent and/or interdependent as possible within the context of appropriate risk.

The curriculum strands/domains include Vocational studies, Community Access, Personal Life Management, Social Skills, Self-advocacy, Literacy and Numeracy. Essential to the process is Transition planning, which will assist in the development of good citizens in our community once they have exited the program.
